Biography.
Terho is a five piece group, the musical dynamo of which are personal pop songs written by Teemu Ratinen and Kai Kärki. Tuomas Martikainen's vigorous drumming and Tatu Savolainen's rocking bass playing form the backbone of Terho's sound. The ribs consist of their three guitar front, from where solo guitarist Lauri Hakanen sometimes escapes into the spheres.
The band kept quiet for several years, but has now made a comeback. The debut album ”Kaupungit hiljenneet” was released in August 2009. The album consists of 11 gracious melodies, that were born out of the band’s enthusiasm for popular music, their quest for a perfect pop song and the uncompelled atmosphere in which the album was conceived.
